IRAS 19 BB

Event Recording System IRAS 19 BB

Event recorder IRAS19 BB (Black Box) is an event recording device which can be both standalone or implemented into an ATP system. It registers analogue and digital data related to the movement of the railway vehicle on the track. The data which is stored is vital to the train movement and can be used to determine a cause of an eventual incident. It is developed based on years of experience in ATP technology.

Functionality

IRAS 19 BB records and archives data about the train and train driver activities in the railway vehicle. This includes recording the way of handling the vehicle as well as parameters of vehicle movement on the track. IRAS 19 BB is designed in a way to have 16+2 digital inputs and 2 configurable analogue inputs. On the output side, it features 2 digital outputs as well as 6 relay and 2 configurable analogue outputs.

Safety

IRAS 19 BB is certified according to EN 50155 (Rolling stock/Electronic equipment), EN 45545-2 (Fire protection), EN 50121-3-2 (Electromagnetic compatibility) and EN 61373 (Shock and vibration).

Maintenance

During the exploitation, the device requires no maintenance. Periodical reviews are recommended but not mandatory.

Connectivity

In accordance with its configuration parameters, IRAS19 BB uses the following communication platforms: Ethernet input, Serial input, Galvanically isolated input RS485 and Galvanically isolated communication input clck&data or data0&data1.

Analytics

All recorded data can be analyzed using a provided software tool. The appearance of the data is configurable (charts, tables, different color schemes…).
